ok. back from obs. so fun. don't wanna forget the lesson i learnt there. so decided must write down everything. can't waste 291.25 yeah. haha
ok. i'm in CHENG HO (aye!). watch 16. mobile 513/06. haha. all cheng ho-ians are: me swusan tanya xiuming baina peiyi keyi nydia faizal hilmi rashid kokwan ivan wangzhe & yikai (or lawrence). ohya. we acutally have 16 ppl. but think is someone called ziyang never come. so become 15.
yeah. instructors are SAMUEL and DANIEL. both two nice guys. really nice man. think samuel is the main instructors bah, he does most of the talking and teaching.. nono. no teaching, is intructing. think if samuel is not injured, daniel would never come out and talk. anyway, samuel is really a nice guy. oh man. so nice. miss him sia. the way he talk to us, is so lame and funny. ahhh. and he say he will retire as a english teacher. reminds me of royng. same same guy. funny and lame. and talk super english. is just that samuel so much shorter. but that's not the point. he's much much muscular and nice. yeah. daniel.. hmm. first 3 days never see him talk to us before, can always see his stern face, so thought that he is those evil evil ppl. but actually, when he led us our land expedition on the 4th day, realised that he is quite nice also. haha. so must smile and talk more. oh man.. i really miss the instructor.......
ok. the details.
DAY 1 (mon 14/08/06):
went to sch with my bigbig luggage that weighs 7kg. oh man. is super damn big. i don't even dare to go out of the car when i reach sch. never see a single person wearing pe shirt and carrying big bag. then papa was like kept telling me to go out. his car cannot stay outside long yeah. then i was like reluctant to go. but of course, in the end, i don't care anymore. walk in to the sch, felt so awkward and funny. then luckily saw yizhen. and we went to canteen. and realised also quite a no. of ppl also bigbig bags and pe shirt. that's gd. haha. then went to parade ground for morning assembly. met with t1 ppl. it's like so nan de when we can don't go to class and stay outside. it's a different feeling from the usual ones. then when that "rainbow" song goes, saw ppl rushing down from stairs. just thought that secs 3 are so special. quite like it. seeing ppl rushing and doing their daily routine, but ownself can just relax and wait for a brand new day. yeahyeah. escape from the stupid routine. after marikita, everything is different, don't need to walk back to class, don't need to go up stairs.the feeling is so different. whatever. then seperate into watches. oh man. at the rate i'm going to type, think morning haven't finish. but nvm. ok. board onto bus, and my bag is so huge and large that i have difficulty going pass the seats. then there is this guy saying, "u going for 1 month stay ar. golf issit" haha. my bag surely look like a golf bag. and who is this guy?? is faizal!! haha. funny guy. but he also very nice.
ok. reach puggol jetty. is a long trip from bpghs. maybe never talk. sit in watches. don't whether is good or bad, my watch is the first few to board the ship. then reach pulau ubin, obs campsite 2. sat in our watches at the "hall". don't know what the place is called, but there is a stage, so should be a "hall". then waited quite long for all the other 18 watches to assemble. the 5 rest watches will be at campsite 1. then is the introducing of instructor. say what when introduce the instructor, the watch must cheer, then watch before us all got cheer, then when is my watch turn.. like no sound like that.. haha. then do some briefing with samuel. get to know each other, even though it's not a lot. then blahblah done some store thingy. count thing. pack thing. then lunch!. yeah man. but is only bread. haha. had lunch then we had kayaking for the rest of the afternoon. quite worry at first. cos i'm woman mah. no choice. but actually, it's ok de. woman or not woman. it's the same. so continue my kayaking. don't dare to go out of the water at first. scare thing will go disgusting. so stay in the water while everybody goes up to take their pedal and stuff. think like that everyone knowsd what happen to me man. so malu. but nevermind. had capsizing drill. don't dare to do drill at first, cos scare go onto the kayak, thing will leak out. but actually there's nth. thanks to yikai man. so nice. volunteer to do with me. then i was like so guilty guilty de. create so much trouble. quite nice lah. capsizing. first time done it. has the feeling of drowing. ur eyes will see blueblue colour, then is like drank some water. quite nice. brand new experience. then we went to kayak out to the sea. do with xiuming. xiuming also nicenice. willing to pair with me. at first, she at the back, i in front. then waseh. we kept going off direction. had to make other ppl wait for us. using up a lot of time, making everything late late. then we change seat. i back. xiuming front. then that's better. learn sterling and done capsizing and rescueing. haha. fun seh. love capsizing. then when we suppose to rescue, oh man, it's so funny. cos we had to take the pedals of the capsize pair. so with many pedal on our hand, we cannot pedal. then the wave kept blowing the capsize pair away, further and further away from us. then they were shouting and xiuming and i were like at lost. so funny. laugh like mad. in the end. they got snatch. resuced by other ppl. and we have to find other ppl to rescue. and they would be wangzhe and peiyi. haha. done rescuing and were back to shore. everything ok. nothing come out. haha. thank god for that. so scare loh. was like 6pm already when we reach shore. so have little time for pitching of tent and cooking. so have to pitch in the night and cook and eat in the night. learn how to pitch tent. never done cooking at all man. for the past 5 days. not once. keep doing pitching. haha. as the saying goes "too many cooks spoil the broth" haha. our first dinner: maggi mee. with luncheon meat and one more thing. forgot what le. and the luncheon meat is so big loh and some more, swusan don't eat that, so i have to eat 2 bigbig luncheon. can't waste food yeah. drag until 9 plus. was late again have to meet samuel at 8.30 actually. in fact, we were never punctual. haha. and samuel is really a nature+outdoor lover man. have to clean our cooking area until no food left. have to wash the cans throughly at the beach. must make compact. everything man. think other watches also never like that. and hor. think he got quite sad also. saw that we nv clean properly. and when we past by another watch's cooking area. he was totally disappointed diao. cos that area nothing was clean. cans and food everywhere. lots of ants and cockroach. can see that he got quite sad with it. haha. then finish cleaning. have fire drill. gather at the place don't know what it called near the sea. everybody was so tired and sian loh. and that campsite IC still want us to cheer. and is like don't know who start the cheer. so long de. bp cheer, then wuzhong cheer then bpband cheer. walao. tired ok. haha.
went back to sleep later on. never brush teeth. too lazy to do so. rinse mouth only. slept with tanya, swu san and xiuming in one tent. oh man. and there is this spider with a white head man. i used swusan torchlight to squash the head and wanted to take it out of the tent. but realised that only its head is on the torchlight. it's body is still left in the tent. so just push the spider body in the side. er xin daooooo. difficult to sleep. like what samuel's said: adaptation night. slept twice. meaning sleep woke up sleep woke up. and hand was like numb each time i woke up. and tada. the start of the 2nd day.
oh man. i wrote so long for just 1 day.
Day 2:
ok. finally got to brush my teeth. haha. saw wild boar!! yeah man. my friend. was like behind me when i was brushing my teeth. roaming around there. can't see clearly. cos it's dark. but at least i did see it. haha. has a long nose. haha. ate breakfast. done some activity and have that stupid obs olympic. haha. samuel make it all funny. ohya, we still have that left left left, rightrightright, frontfrontfront back front thing. haha. then have our morning circle. talking. learning about medic stuff. wasn't much bonding between cheng ho. little ppl talk. and the most enthu would be samuel. if it wasn't him, think our watch will be sian all the way. talk like..erm.. 1hr. haha. and ya, 1 thing. stupid thing. samuel put the medic bag in the middle of the circle and tell us to say "medic medic medic". funny right. this guy. haha. then went for some climbling stuff. do some activity like leaning behind. then the lesson learnt: trust and confidence in ppl and urself. haha. seriously, got quite fed up at first. cos tanya was like reluctant to lean back. say i what not stable enough. haiz. then she kept dont want to lean back. and make it sound like everything it's my fault and so. then i was quite sad lah obviously. don't know why she just won't like me try holding her. i really don't believe that i can't stablelize. why i wasn't given the chance to try. why she don't trust in me. so got quite sad and frustrated. and she seem so bo chap. haiz. don't know lah. then have to do in 3s. so break with her and do with swusan and xiuming. haiz. don't know what to say. just felt so.... haiz...
then later learn abt harness and helmet. haha. took quite a long time to wore it. learn belaying also. and when everybody was like ready to climb.. it rained. haha. so have our lunch first then we climbed the wall indoor. siansian de bah. cos climber, belayer, supporter, rope ppl, altogether only 4 ppl. times 2 wall, so only 8 ppl doing thing. the rest.. er.. sian-ing. so the activity got quite sian. haha. but nvm. did some climbing still. and our watch is like no bonding de loh, so no ppl cheer, nth. everything. sian. oh ya! one thing one thing. rashid, think is him, was like guessing samuel's age. then he say, "strongly suspect 21". haha. then can see samuel there trying to laugh but dare not laugh. haha. he must be feeling damn happy. haha. saw ppl packing stuff so thinking what about us. then samuel say we also have to pack thing. going on a sea expedition. oh man. have to stuff 15 ponchos in one bah. haha. and i kept mixing up ponchos with life vest. at first, still dont know what poncho is. then realise it's just raincoat. so stupid raincoat call raincoat lah. why called poncho. kept saying wrongly. after packing, have to repitch our tent cos it's wet. haha. learnt some navigating stuff and compass stuff then. then samuel was so funny. say what magic banana. haha. cute. then he left us to do find some point in the map. haha. at the end, he do the stupid thing again. tell us to point at the banana and say, "magic banana magic banana magic banana". samuel really funny and lame. oh man. make my day man. then ate our dinner. raisin rice. haha. er.. nice?? everything is nice when u are in obs. haha. then at night. the other girls' tent was like filled with insects. haha. then had to ask the boys to help. quite funny. luckily our tent only has water no insects. its better man. i mean btwn insents and water what u want. of course is water lah. haha. before that we had a 4 watch briefing. samuel do the talking first. haha. then he talk the indian talk: the 5 bird going on a journey. then can hear ppl from other watch saying, "很像". haha. of course lah. haha. anyway, when we had our briefing, our watch is the least enthu de loh. when he introduce each watch's instructor, everyone was like cheering for their own. then when he introduce himself, we.. only clap. haiz. he must be feeling sad man. but of course lah, he continue his zi-highness. then he was like talking about our route for the C-X (sea expedition) the next day. haha. he gave us 4 options. thought that it would be either option A or B cos it's the most direct one. but in the end, it's C. diao loh. which is around pulau ubin loh. so shock. can't believe it at first. thought he joking. but is the truth. wanna faint. haha.
then went to sleep. everybody got quite high after that. which is so different from the day 1 night. everybody so tired. but now, everybody so energetic. cos we shift our tent, we are like away from the rest of the cheng ho tent, closer to the battuta tent. so got 1 person, think is kokwan, came over and said "u can be battuta liao". haha. then tanya was like having those couple quarrel with a neighbour battuta tent. haha. so funny. then somewhere somebody shouted u-traman. haha. should be pronounced as ultraman. but that person say you-traman. haha. sooooo funny. make me laugh non-stop. laugh until stomach pain. haha. that night was really happy lah. haha. slept quite gd too. slept at the side of the tent. with xiuming on my right. and hor. wah. xiuming. u pushed me!! and between xiuming and tanya, there's so much space loh. why go push me!! haha. and yeah. end of 2nd day of obs. haha
oh man. 1.10am liao. gonna sleep. even though i slept from like 11 to 6 in the afternoon today. tml, no, today still have church later on. haha. obs.. fun.

ah!!!!!!!!!! how could i forget one more thing. haha. when we had a morning talk on 2nd day, we learnt something about wild boar: it will bite u by the ear, drag u off and MARRY u. haha. samuel kept saying that about wild boar. then once he say that, we will say "marry u". haha. so cute and funny. once, he talk about not anyhow put the medic bag. then he say what if we anyhow put, wild boar will come and drag the bag off, and we continue by saying, "marry it". haha. so cute.
