Day 4 (cont.):
yeah. so had our lunch and we continued our walk. then walk walk walk. wanted to like walk together with cheng ho. but was quite separated. so walk with swusan and xiuming. sang songs along the way. like "marry had a little lamb". haha. so funny. daniel heard us singing, and he said, "come on, i want more little lambs". haha. cute. then walk for quite a long distance. then there is this junction. and battuta and amundsen was walking in the more seem-to-be-correct direction, while yikai was thinking about walking another direction. so yeah. after like some quarrel and some comments and all, we decided to walk another way. i was like supporting yikai lah. cos trust mah. then i really don't want to see ppl stop and discuss. just wanna walk. think i was wrong in that way. anyway, we walk for quite a bit then realised we really walk wrong, and so we turned back. felt guilty?? a bit. or maybe not. i mean yikai is the land ex ic yeah. so must at least trust him. but too much trust?? trust too blindfoldly?? haiz. so confused. really don't know must how. so when we got onto the right track. it is already very late le. oh ya. i was the pacer yeah. then i thought that "it must be a easy road, don't need to count". so i nv count the pace. in the end, yikai was like needing how many pace to count how far we had walked. then i was like telling xiuming and tanya don't need to count. so in the end, found out how irresponsible i am. haiz. lesson learnt: every job is impt. don't underestimate. shouldn't like "fu yan" or what. yeahyeah. then walk for really long and somewhere, somehow, got separated with xiuming and swusan whom i kept walking with and i only bother to wait for them ONCE and i walk super fast later on without waiting for them. i was like wanting to chiong all the way. don't want to stop and waste time. might as well get over and done with. i mean, the more u drag, the more tiring it is. so yeah. sort of like abandon the rest of the watch then walk fast fast with faizal, keyi and kokwan. rushing and rushing. then when it was like almost reaching the campsite 2. daniel called us back together. talked to us about in the early morning, we actually set off TOGETHER, but now is SEPARATED. do we want to end up this way? and he also said but this experience, u can see whether u are a true friend anot. felt guilty then. i mean like i didn't really bother to wait for xiuming and swu san later on. it's like i kept walking with them, then i abandon them and heck care them. and it's like so "mei yi qi". we are a watch. and should start as a watch. end as a watch. haha. yeahyeah. so later on, we really stay compact together. then we were like trying to sing to lighten the atmosphere. sang some singapore song. sang sch song. with little ppl singing only. then rashid start the following song of "in the early morning run". haha. and think everybody really sing. yeahyeah. happy happy. then when we reach the gate of campsite 2, samuel was waiting for us there. and when he saw us, he even bow to us. ah. he must be happy to see us so united.
then we had our circle talking and reflecting. he asked who found the first checkpt, we replied, "CHENG HO." he asked who found the 2nd checkpt, we also replied, "CHENG HO." haha. nice leh. really like this. then we had to step on the ground sheet and try to move to the other side with no one stepping out. even though we didn't really finish it, but at least, we did it with our new found cheng ho-ness. haha. yeahyeah. then split up, somebody went packing, some go up to do tenting. then was like me, swusan, xiuming, hilmi, yikai and wangzhe doing the tent. but we end up slacking there. haha. oh ya. our new sleeping area is up the 101 stairs at the "playground" there. at first we nv count the no. of steps, then samuel was like asking, "did u count?". sounds like sth funny going on right. then we are like, "huh?? need to count meh??" haha. then later on realised is 101 stairs. oh man. faint. no wonder walk until can die. haha. so slacking, then i proposed to do cheer again. and xiuming like the dumdumdumdum cheer. so we invent one. haha. actually we intend to teach the rest of the watch during dinner. but everything is just too rush. so end up the cheer being wasted. sad. so i just post it down here. haha

CHENG HO CHENG HO (soften down).....
WILD BOAR!!haha. lame yeah. pity it wasn't put in use. haha. ok. then we start to pitch our tent. wasn't fully pitch. then at around 4.30pm, if rmb correctly, we put on our helmet and harness and was like thinking what are we going to do. then realised we are going to do the double dual sth going up a log. haha. whatever it is called. but before that, we are asked to pick a stone, and form a circle and thrown it to the person on the right. and the person must catch. then throw to the left and right again. samuel was like asking how long do we need to discuss, then i was having this thought, "need to discuss meh??" thinking it is an easy task only. but actually, it is not. communication is impt in teamwork. yeah. learn sth. and seriously, i lack of sense of urgency. haiz. and i was laughing all the way, relaxing when we are actually rushing to meet a time limit. then realised, oh man, i have the wrong attitude. super super wrong. SENSE OF URGENCY!!. haiz. and ya, we failed, can't meet the time, and can see samuel is disappointed with us. haiz.
then we cont with our actual activity, which is the dual thingy. so keyi and nydia do the demostration first. and then i and rashid go up. one problem with me: i'm a solo person. is like i kept wanting to go up myself without accepting help from rashid, then in the end, waste a lot of time because of me. pathetic. why i like that. really not a gd teamplayer loh me. must chang emy attitude. GIVE HELP AND ACCEPT HELP. nobody is alone yeah. yeahyeah. but nvm, that's the funny part, rashid was like screaming, cos yeah, his private part was so called being crash. oh man. this guy is so cute loh. after a while, he go over to yikai and ask whether he can take out his harness anot, cos he feel that his ball is crashing. oh man. damn funny. and the way he asked, is so innocently and cute. i'm not a pervert ok. and i don't usually laugh at such thing. but then, oh man, really laugh my head off. haha. then ya. everybody had their turn. while it was xiuming turn, i went to drink some water. then i heard ppl there shouting and gasping. then asked what happen, they say what xiuming underwear shown. haha. missed it. sad. haha. then xiuming was like very malu, kept asking and asking did she show alot. haha. cute. then at the last pair, kok wan and hilmi. hilmi went for 2nd time cos our watch gt 15ppl, need one person to go twice then can. so yeah. samuel say if we cheer, they would be given 5min, and if we have our awkward silence, 1min only. it's like we are running short of time already. and we are really late. but yeah. having the cheng ho spirit, we of course cheer like mad lah. haha. then half way thru, while i was doing the supporting, i shouted, "hilmi, go!", then next, oh man, guess what i shouted, "cheng wan, go!" what the. cheng ho + kokwan = cheng wan. haha. then the rest of the watch was like laughing loh. so stupid. malu. haha. as they are both guys, so climbing up actually wasn't a big challenge, they could do own their own. but when at the last log, it was unreachable by the hand alone, need support from the other person. so quite a difficulty for them yeah. actually this is to show teamwork yeah. can't work alone. haha. so after everything done, we settle down and had our circle again.
the 3Cs for teamwork: COMMUNICATION, CO-OPERATION & COORDINATION.
yeahyeah. somebody also said care and concern. anyway, when talked abt teamwork and cx and land ex. i had this thought about nball training. i mean when cx, there is this saying, THE FASTEST COULD ONLY GO AS FAST AS THE SLOWEST. or sth like that. then whenever someone fell or was like lag behind during nball training, or was like cannot perform a drill well, ppl will become irritated with her, then everything is so tense up. i mean, this don't help yeah. encourage instead of discourage. yaya. i know. sense of urgency. the urgency to complete a drill well. i know i know. but u can't left a person behind just to complete ur own agenda or personal interest. ppl have different strengths, be more considerate yeah. take for another example, somebody fall down, and the first thought u have is to drag the person out of the court and let her rot by herself?? oh man. is that teamwork?? is that what we call a team?? should we just left one person behind and continue do our own thing?? this don't work during cx loh. when someone capsize, ppl help. ppl stop. or even simple thing like shhshh, there's 3 or 4 kayak out there just helping 1 person shh shh. even though mobile A couldn't be called a perfect team, i seriously think is better than nball. haiz. that's what i feel.
so sort of have some reflection on the past few days. thank ppl. yah. really had quite a no. of ppl to thank. nice ppl out there in cheng ho. yeahyeah. samuel also. nice. haha. =D. then he said if we can finish cooking and eating by 8.30, we would be given a special activity. haha. most probably night walk yeah. but well, how could we met the time. haha. so we failed. well, hmm.. sad and happy bah. happy cos can bath le. haha. really felt very dirty. then my blister on my is worsening. so really wanna bath and relax. don't wanna work anymore. as for sad, night walk leh!! haha. it's like night walk is the major event of obs loh. haha. but ok lah. then end up packing and all. haha. then yeah. sleep!. haha. tent was near keyi tent. then oh man. keyi and faizal was having couple quarrel. and is very very long loh. haha. but cute lah them. haha. then on the other side, yikai and ivan were singing in another tent. haha. but still manage to sleep of course.
then sleep until like 5?? was awake. don't know by what. then suddenly xiuming's hand touch me, then i was like "xia dao", but her hand moved away lah. then her leg moved over again. but this time never move away loh, kept pushing and pushing.haha. then end up cannot sleep anymore. haha. cute lah. then i was like wanna laugh but cannot laugh. later wake everybody up. so ya. didn't sleep after that, and this begins day 5. haha.
ok. shall end here. cont day 5 tml. haha. 10.30pm now. monday today. first day of sch after obs. felt so meaningless in sch. my soul and mind is still in pulau ubin. have this feeling that i shouldn't be in sch, should be in pulau ubin listening to the sea wave, or interacting with the nature. or sth like that. really felt quite lost during class. was like sad sad de. until i saw faizal. then mood gt up abit. haha. but he seem bo chap about me. so sad. then mood went down again. think i'm the only cheng ho-ian who's still high about cheng ho. haiz. but nonetheless, i miss them, and samuel, and the sea and sand.
